A Little About Me

Andrew Springer is an Emmy and Peabody Award wining journalist, producer, entrepreneur, and preacher. The West Virginia-born son of an investigative journalist and grandson of a Methodist circuit rider, Andrew was born into a family with a deep feeling of duty and service to both our fellow human beings and God. His passion for helping move society forward—and disdain for authority—has pushed Andrew to take risks and start new ventures throughout every phase of his career.

Co-founder & CEO, NOTICE News

Launched a new independent, Progressive news brand dedicated to bringing the news to new audiences across social platforms. Amassed over 1.6 million followers over four years. January 2021 - Present.

Seminarian, Greenpoint Reformed Church

Served as summer seminarian for the joint UCC-RCA church Greenpoint Reformed Church in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, overseeing all aspects of the church—from preaching on Sunday morning to the food pantry on Thursdays—for the summer. Summer 2024.

Consultant, Voice of America

Developed and launched a new media brand aimed at bringing America’s story to young Mandarin speakers globally called Plus One. December 2019 - May 2021.

Executive Producer & Creator, Stay Tuned

Developed, launched, and oversaw the very first news show on Snapchat Discover called Stay Tuned from NBC News. Grew Snapchat subscriber base to over 10 million, and expanded Stay Tuned to other social platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. December 2018 - May 2019.

Communications & Digital Director, South Carolina, Bernie Sanders for President 2016

Oversaw all digital efforts, including organizing, fundraising, and SMS campaigns, as well as all press related activity in South Carolina for Sen. Bernie Sander’s first run for president in 2015. September 2015 - December 2015.
